Christmas Decorations

We had a very exciting week this week.  On Wednesday, we took Ryan to Children's Hospital for his MRI.  For those of you who do not know, Ryan has had migraine headaches for the past few years.  We were very relieved to find that the MRI was normal and we are pleased with the progress from working with the neurologist at Children's Hospital.  The procedure lasted only about 45 minutes and Ryan was fine one the anesthesiologist told him he was putting him to sleep with a gas that smelt like dinosaur farts.

Ryan talked mommy and daddy into putting up the Christmas decorations early.  He did a great job helping decorate the tree.  Next year it could be a little more interesting once baby Jeremy is more mobile.

Thank goodness that mommy is not afraid of heights.  On Friday evening we decided to take advantage of the wonderful weather and hang up the lights in the dark.
Jeremy is still growing, he is in 6 month clothing and size 2 diapers.  He smiles all of the time and he is now starting to talk and giggle.  He started Monday sleeping in his crib in his own room.  On Tuesday he even slept from 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM.  Mommy is a little sad because she only has one more week of maternity leave :(.

We are learning that Ryan has an amazing memory and a great since of humor.  There was a pinata at church today.  Ryan went to the table to get some candy and he identified that mommy had eaten one of the 20 pieces of candy he got from the pinata.  He then proceeded to go to the Christmas tree and get a Hershey chocolate bar ornament and say, "See mom, the one you ate was like this."  We'll let you guess whether or not he went to the store to get a new Hershey chocolate bar...

This evening, Ryan was playing on the gate to the stairs.  Mommy asked him, "Ryan, how many times have I asked you not to play on the gate."  He promptly replied, "18."  About a half hour later he proceed to ask his mommy, "Is 18 a lot mommy?"

We definitely have and endless supply of entertainment with our boys and we are as proud as any parents could be.  We would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.  We are truly thankful for the family God has blessed us with.
